My Morning Routine

You can only come to the morning through the shadows 

5:30-6 o'clock comes around I stroll out of bed and immediately up the stairs, bumping into walls not fully with it yet to see who esle is awake. Plus I need my coffee asap. Normally someone is already up. Yes I live at home. If my dad's up it's because he had a good sleep for once(rare), his tea is made in the same cup and he'd be up scrolling on his iPad. My mom if she is up first, cinnamon has been sprinkled in her coffee and the kettle has been flicked on for my dad when he gets up. She's normally reading or on her phone first thing in the morning. I grab my black coffee with cold water and lay back down on the same spot on the couch. I like my coffee black and my mornings bright. Everyone has their own spot including the dog. It's our families quiet time and catch up time, we go over the days events, talk about things we see on Facebook and enjoy eachothers company. I look forward to this part of my day every morning. Family time is so important to me. I even will go home early from friends houses just so I can spend this peaceful time with my family. I know, imagine staying the night out and getting driven back at 6 am just to spend time with your mom and dad. I'm 28. They are my superhumans, I love my parents so much. Morning can be quiet or full of talking. 6:40 rolls around dad hops in the shower, 7:00 shows and mom goes down to work out, 7:15 with my second coffee in hand and my medication taken, I head downstairs to start a day of editing voice overs and alot of talking to myself. 7:30 comes and dad starts work in his office upstaires. I have my own office where I put my coffee, vape and phone for the day and I have my studio that I have nothing but desk laptop and microphone. I make each morning my masterpiece. Mornings are the best time, I feel the most productive and i get alot of my demo reels filmed in the mornings before my speech begins to slur in the afternoons. Everymorning is a beautiful morning and it wouldn't trade it for the world. Spent time with your parents while you still can mine are my bestfriends and I wouldn't want it any other way.
