The ones who gave me everything

Once upon a time in a land far far across all lands and the ocean were two unsuspecting lovers, Roxanne and Nigel.

Roxanne was backing packing across Australia and Nigel and his family decided to move to Australia (and he calls himself the Australian, but in technicality that’s not true).

During her travels, Roxanne had the opportunity to go diving on the Great Barrier Reef which no one could pass up that experience.

Her Dive Master was very small and very loud, he commanded the attention the moment he entered the room. Roxanne looked around the room hoping this man wouldn’t be her Dive Master but sure enough he was.

With not a shy bone in his body Nigel, (the Dive Master) declared he was going to fail Roxanne if she didn t smarten up and also go on a date with him! Well he was charming so she couldn’t say no. And the rest was history.

They lived their best lives living and working on the Great Barrier Reef together. They had their own boat where they would take divers out for weeks at a time, showing them the beauty of the ocean and the creatures that can be found within. Five years go by and Roxanne convinces Nigel to come live in Canada.

Canada is cold and dull compared to the tropical rainforest of Australia. Nigel loved his first year of winter, moose chasing, downhill skiing and snowmobiling like James Bond. Then Nigel had to shovel snow……
