Welcome to my first podcast called Foolishly Unhinged! I had so much fun making it! I can't believe how easy the process was! The hardest part was coming up with the name! I needed something that would catch people attention. Foolishly Unhinged is what i ultimately came up with that I thought described me and my life the best. I made this podcast originally for a class but I might just keep on doing if people enjoy! I was SO unsure of what topics to bring up first, how to i catch the crowds attention? Do I talk about the funny side and stories of mental health? Do I talk about my theatre experience? Do I do some Shakespeare read throughs? Do I talk about my life in general? So many ideas. I would love some feedback!
I made this Podcast in my studio. Which is tucked away in my small bathroom, where there is a single desk and a microphone surrounded by cardboard plastered with sound proofing. My Voice Over and Blogging and Podcasting classes have kind of blended together. They both use a program called Audacity, and both classes walk you through on how to use it. This is the single program I use to edit my work, plus its free. It allows me to take away all the blank spaces and the "ums and ahs" and add music to any piece that needs it. I will post my second podcast in the next few days and it will be talking about my journey through my Voice Acting classes. I will be diving into the content of the class and be reading a short script on what it really means to be a story-teller.
