I don't want to quit Vaping

I need to quit vaping, but I don't want to and don't think that I can.

It was way easier to quit hard drugs than to get this vape out of my hand. It's gotten bad; I vape in my sleep. I can barely breathe on a good day, so my journey of trying to get fit is curbed by the fact that I  can't breathe. It's going to be hard, but not impossible. Baby steps. Quitting is okay if you're quitting something that is slowly killing you and you're stepping into something that can give you life. One bad habit often spoils a dozen good ones. I only started vaping because my last partner did. I had never smoked cigarettes or vaped before that time. I just wanted to be cool back then, but now it's become more than a habit. If you think that you are making a sacrifice and you will be deprived of pleasure, quitting will be much harder. Instead of viewing it as a sacrifice, recognize it as a positive step toward better health and well-being. As long as I think smoking gives me pleasure, I will never be a happy non-smoker. I have to switch my view of smoking from a temporary 'stress reliever' to a permanent 'health stealer'. I have to get to the heart of my smoking habit by confronting and resolving the emotions that go with it. Why do I need to vape?
There'll be no more vape going off in my pocket or coils being burnt out. My lungs deserve fresh air, not smoke. It's been a long 7 years. The money I've spent on smoking, I can now invest in my future. There will never be a perfect time to stop quitting, but I have to start somewhere.

  1. Quite true! Do your future self a favour, and quit now. Your lungs, your skin, your every breath will be better. Think of how proud you'll feel when you are beyond it!
