Since as long as I can remember I’ve had an obsession with Marilyn Monroe and all the different aspects of her life. Her view on the world was powerful at the time and as she stood shading the against the grain.

“I don’t know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot!” Marilyn made bold statements about men and fashion throughout her years. “ I dress for men. A women looks at your clothes critically. A man appreciates them” I use this statement in my to day life. I spend all my time being creative and dressing for me, making makeup looks for myself and dressing up nice with the reasoning you look good you feel good. “I want to grow old without facelifts. I want to have the courage to be loyal to the face I have made.”

I like to dress for other people, I like to see their excitement that get when I put in the effort to dress for them too. I get the mans creative input on what ‘look’ I should create for the day. I’m not doing it to please men but rather get new makeup and fashion ideas that will curtail to them for the future. “Your clothes should be tight enough to show you are a women, but loose enough to show you are a lady.”

I’ve been called little Marilyn all my adult life. Maybe it’s the blonde hair and blue eyes or maybe it’s the fact that I’m into film and acting too. But to be called that is one of the biggest compliments I can think of.

Her view on love was simple. She wanted to be treated as an equal and with respect. “I am not an angel. But I do sin, but I am not the devil and I’m just a small girl in a big world. Trying to find someone to love.” Marilyn was searching for true love and was not going to put up with any one in her way from making that happen.
