A Book A Day

The Little Library Bandit

One of my manic obsession this year has been books. Books books and more books. Found in the small town of Petrolia are 6 little free libraries. One being ours and I frequent the rest of them often. They are apart of my everyday bike route. (When I could bike, but that’s another story). The best part is that they are free and most libraries have the rule “give a book take a book” so I can take the ones that I want or don’t particularly want to read myself and put them back into our free family little library. I am apart of every book I ever read, every story ever told.

Another place I frequented everyday for books was St Vincent DePaul. Their bargain deal is 50 cents a book so that’s 20 books for 10$!!!!! I have found some great catches and some old school classics like Dracula, Anne of Green Gables, Edger Allan Poe or Tom Sawyer. I keep gems like that for my kids in the future so those stories don’t get lost in time.

Last best place to buy books are at garage sales. Take your time while flipping through the books you never know what you’ll find or the price they will give you! Knowledge should be free so i buy books for as cheap as possible.

Reading gives us some place to go when we have to stay where we are. I plan on having a library in my house when I’m older. The walls filled top to bottom with books of all genres and kinds. Informational, fantasy, science fiction, non fiction anything you can think of I want to collect. Reading is a superpower and in the end we all become stories.
